Dybala, 26, became a host of European-based footballers to be infected but the coronavirus and is said to be well on his way to full recovery in self-isolation.
However, the Argentina international confessed doubts over Ronaldo's suitability within the team when the five-time Ballon d'Or winner transferred from Real Madrid two seasons ago.
In an interview with AFA, Dybala claimed: "I said to him: Cristiano, in Argentina, we hate you a bit because of your figure, because of how you are, of how you walk.
"I told him that you surprised me and he [Ronaldo] laughed and replied: 'I am as I am. I am used to receiving these criticisms.'"
