Manchester United news: Paul Pogba agent hints at Juventus return

Paul Pogba could leave Manchester United for a return to Juventus, his agent Mino Raiola has confirmed.

Raiola came out on the eve of United's crucial UEFA Champions League clash against RB Leipzig with knockout stage qualification on the line to publically express that his client wants to leave.

Citing his unhappiness at Old Trafford, the super-agent who's known for his controversial statements to the media has seemingly added the pressure for the Red Devils to part ways with their club-record signing.

"It's useless to go around it, he's unhappy in Manchester," Raiola told Tuttosport. "He can no longer express himself as one would expect from him and how he wants to.

"He would like to. He has to change team, change the air. He has a contract that will expire in a year and a half, but I think the best solution for the parties is to sell in the next transfer market.

"If not, Manchester would risk losing him on a free transfer, given that he's not intending to extend his contract."

The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner has been on the periphery of the United squad under manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer and his issues at the club previously contributed to the sacking of Jose Mourinho.

Whilst he's constantly been liked with a return to Turin, where he emerged as one of the leading performers in European football, Raiola barely minced his words about the prospective move.

"Maybe Juventus could be his next destination," Raiola claimed. "Why not? Among other things, the relationship with the club and his former teammates is excellent.

"At the time of COVID, not many can afford Paul. The important thing is to want him."
