Juventus urged to sign Gabriel Jesus over Harry Kane

There have been reports that the Serie A champions are looking to add Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane to their attack for the 2020/2021 season.

However, the former Italy star believes Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus would be a much more suitable partner for Ronaldo.

"He (Jesus) is fast, technical, he gets assists. Of these strikers, the Brazilian from Manchester City is the least striker but he would be the most suitable to play with Cristiano Ronaldo," Toni told Tuttosport.

"CR7 is not a pure centre-forward, but he is the one who scores the most and must score the most goals. Kane, who I consider the best of the under 30s, is not necessarily perfect for Cristiano Ronaldo.

"I see much better Gabriel Jesus, who scores at City but also scores a lot, opens spaces for his team-mates, presses, and is only 22 years old."

Ronaldo has played alongside Gonzalo Higuain for most of the season, with Paulo Dyabla coming off the bench this season.

Jesus, meanwhile, has registered 18 goals and nine assists across all competitions for Pep Guardiola's side this campaign, despite playing second fiddle to Sergio Aguero.
