Following his appointment as new Juventus manager, Andrea Pirlo will become the 10th manager to coach Cristiano Ronaldo at club level. Here is how the Portugal superstar performed under each of his previous nine bosses.
Over the weekend, just nine days after Pirlo was hired as the head coach of Juventus' U23 side, the former Italy international was promoted to the club's top job following the sacking of countryman Maurizio Sarri.

The 41-year-old assumes the role despite having no previous managerial experience of note, and becomes the 10th manager to be tasked with getting the best out of Bianconeri talisman Ronaldo, who is only six years his junior.

The Portugal captain made his competitive debut under Laszlo Boloni during his time at Sporting Lisbon, and went on to record five goals and three assists in 31 appearances under the Romania legend, winning the 2002 Portuguese Super Cup.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner then burst on to the scene with Manchester United where, under the tutelage of Sir Alex Ferguson, he went on to win nine major trophies, including the first of his five UEFA Champions League crowns to date.
Ronaldo ultimately made 292 appearances during Ferguson's reign at Old Trafford – the most under any manager throughout his career – before joining Real Madrid for a then-world record fee of €94 million (R1.9 billion) in 2009.

The Portugal international was managed by five separate coaches during his time in Madrid, featuring the most times under Jose Mourinho (164 appearances) and enjoying his greatest success under Zinedine Zidane (nine major trophies).
He also enjoyed considerable success under Carlo Ancelotti, under whom he netted an incredible 112 goals in just 101 appearances and won four trophies, while enjoying similarly prolific personal returns under Manuel Pellegrini and Rafael Benitez.
Ronaldo then left Madrid for Turin in 2018, and recorded 28 goals and 11 assists in 43 appearances in his debut season under Massimiliano Allegri, before improving his tally to 37 goals and nine assists under Sarri last season, winning the Serie A title in both campaigns.
