NEW! Qatar billionaire makes 'U-turn' on Man Utd bid

Qatar billionaire Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani has reportedly made a final decision on his bid to buy Manchester United.

The Qatari billionaire made his interest known to the Glazer family in April this year and has made bids in the last few months.

However, various reports in England now claim that he has withdrawn from the bidding process after his bid was rejected by the Glazer family.

Fabrizio Romano has now reported that  Sheikh Jassim's final bid was believed to be double the $3.5billion market valuation.

Sheikh Jassim presented the cash bid to buy 100 percent of the club while also clearing the club's existing debt.

As a result, Manchester billionaire Sir Jam Ratcliffe was Sheikh Jassim's competitor to buy the club, but reports claim he wants to buy a percetange of the Red Devils rather than a total buy-out.
