Manchester United are reportedly preparing a club-record bid for a striker who has scored 11 goals this season.
The Red Devils have reportedly been searching for a new forward since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo in November last year.
In January, the Manchester side found a temporary solution in Wout Weghorst on loan and recent reports suggest that the Dutchman will return to Burnley at the end of the campaign.
Erik ten Hag's side have been widely linked with Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen in recent months.

However, prisiing one of the aforementioned duo will be tough as Napoli are believed to be tough negotiators, while Kane has been unsuccessful in his previous attempts to leave the Tottenham Hotspur.
According to German outlet Bild, Eintracht Frankfurt's Randal Kolo Muani has been identified as a potential solution.
The report adds that the Red Devils are ready to pay €120 million (R2.3 billion) for his signature.

This fee would be a club-record as Paul Pogba currently holds the feat after his transfer from Juventus in 2016 for €105 million (R2 billion)
The France striker has scored 11 goals and created 12 assists in the Bundesliga this season.
