The former Ajax Amsterdam tactician had one year remaining on his deal with the Manchester outfit, but the reports claim he is now set for an extension.
Ten Hag managed to win the Carabao Cup and secure a third-place finish in the Premier League during his debut season at Old Trafford.
The 2023/2024 campaign did not go as planned as the club were eliminated in the UEFA Champions League group stages and finish eighth in the league, which their lowest finish in Premier League history.
Ten Hag did give United fans something to smile about after guiding the side to FA Cup success against rivals Manchester City.
