"Jadon Sancho will remain on a personal training programme away from the first-team group, pending resolution of a squad discipline issue," a statement from the club read.
This comes after the player posted a statement, which has since been deleted, in which he insisted he was being made a scapegoat at the club following his manager's recent criticism of him.
Ten Hag had explained that Sancho was not part of the matchday squad for United's latest EPL game against Arsenal because he was not producing the required level in training.
