Lionel Messi looks set to win a record-seventh Pichichi Trophy this season, with the FC Barcelona currently topping the league's goalscoring chart with 19 goals in just 22 appearances for the campaign.

The 32-year-old is currently five goals clear in the overall standings, with his nearest competitor, Karim Benzema, having netted 14 times in 26 games for title rivals Real Madrid this season.
Luis Suarez rounds out the top three after netting 11 times for the Catalan giants, although he only finds himself on the podium by virtue of a greater goals-per-match ratio than the four other players have scored as many goals.

Among those players is Sevilla's Argentine forward Lucas Ocampos, who found himself on the scoresheet during his side's 2-0 win over rivals Real Betis on Thursday night.
