Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos declared his desire to leave the club after 14 glittering years and it's now reportedly been revealed why he's desperate for the move.
Ramos, 33, is said to have handed in a transfer request this week in the wake of interest from the Chinese Super League and was keen on the idea of departing without compensation.

However, club President Florentino Perez told the media that he's against the idea of their inspirational captain leaving without a transfer fee.
And Spanish news outlet Marca has since revealed why the relationship between the pair has soured to the point of the media outburst.
