Real Madrid star 'agrees' to move to Barcelona

A Real Madrid star has reportedly reached an agreement in principle to join Barcelona.

The LaLiga giants are known to have a bitter rivalry which makes it a very rare occasion when the two clubs consider exchanging players.

In fact, the last direct transfer between the sides took place in 2007 when Javier Saviola joined Los Blancos from the Blaugrana.

However, the latest reports from El Chiringuito suggest that Isco could be the next player to make the switch.

The Spanish outlet claims that the midfielder has agreed to join his side's bitter rivals at the end of the 2021/22 season as his contract is due to expire at the end of this season.

The 29-year-old has seemingly fallen down the pecking order since Carlo Ancelotti arrived and has made just nine appearances in the league.

Club president Joan Laporta is reportedly keen to bolster their squad with more free agents after signing four players recently in a similar manner, such as Eric Garcia, Memphis Depay, Sergio Aguero and Dani Alves.
