FC Barcelona facing fine over Lionel Messi's tribute to Diego Maradona

Following Maradona's death last week, Messi paid tribute to his countryman over the weekend when he celebrated his goal during Barcelona's 4-0 win over Osasuna by revealing the legendary No. 10's old Newell's Old Boys jersey under his own.

The 33-year-old's gesture was widely applauded around the football world and created some of modern football's most iconic imagery, but could now land his club in a bit of hot water for breaching the RFEF Disciplinary Code.
