Arsenal made the fast start after 12 minutes through Emile Smith Rowe, who ran onto a low cross from Bukayo Saka to stab into the back of an empty net.
It was 2-0 a little over the half-hour mark as star man Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang pounced on a cutback from Smith Rowe to slot high in the goal of their counterparts.
The Gunners snatched a third goal minutes before the halftime interval after Saka skipped through a number of challenges to go on and fire beyond a grasping Hugo Lloris.
Spurs came inches close to an immediate reply through the head of Harry Kane minutes to the break, but the talisman planted his attempt wide.
Nuno Espirito Santo draw two substitutions at halftime, with Oliver Skipp introduced for Dele Alli and Japhet Tanganga called out for recent signing Emerson Royal.
Spurs didn't lose hope but continued to pile pressure on their rivals as a solid attempt on the edge of the area by Kane halfway in required an equally strong save from Ramsdale.
The away contingent got a lifeline regardless near the last twelve minutes when a strike from the centre of the area by Heung-Min Son deflected into the net.
A comeback hinted in the dying stages after Ramsdale tipped Lucas Moura's speculative shot onto the woodwork, but 3-1 was the final score with Spurs handed a third straight league defeat.
