Egypt winger Mahmoud Hassan, better known as 'Trezeguet', has completed a move to newly promoted Premier League club Aston Villa.
The 24-year-old has joined Dean Smith's side for an undisclosed fee believed to be in the region of £8.75-million (R151m), subject to a work visa and international clearance.
"We're really excited to work with 'Trez'. I've watched him a number of times," Smith told the club's official website.
"He's the type of wide player that we have been looking for who is direct, causes problems for the opposition in the final third and scores goals."
The former Al Ahly attacker signs from Kasimpasa in the Turkish Super Lig, where he scored 25 goals and provided 18 assists in 71 games.
Trezeguet played alongside Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah for Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations, where they were knocked out in the last 16 by South Africa.
