After Chelsea's successful 2020/21 season, during which they won the UEFA Champions League, we take a look at who the London club's best earners are.
The Stamford Bridge side quickly transitioned from an under-performing team under previous manager Frank Lampard to a tactically dominant and accomplished side under Thomas Tuchel last season, with the Blues' players reportedly pocketing a £10 million (R198 million) bonus, divided among themselves, for their triumphs.

The London club finished the 2020/21 Premier League campaign in the top four, were runners-up in the FA Cup, and were also crowned champions of Europe, thus managing to bring in great financial returns despite cuts in matchday revenue due to the absence of fans as well as other financial problems attributed to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chelsea are one of the best-paying clubs in England, and perhaps unsurprisingly, their better-paid players are the more recent arrivals. According to The Sun, midfielder Mateo Kovacic is on £100 000 (R1.9 million) a week, and defender Thiago Silva earns the same amount, while centre-back Andreas Christensen earns slightly less than them with weekly wages of £88 000 (R1.9 million).
