The Polish hitman, whose 25 league goals put him four strikes ahead of Timo Werner in the scoring chart, was speaking ahead of the Bundesliga's return when he revealed which five strikers around the world are the best in his eyes.

"[That's] a difficult question," the 31-year-old admitted, according to Goal.

"If we talk about [No.] nines, I would say Karim Benzema, Timo Werner, Luis Suarez, Sergio Aguero and Kylian Mbappe."

Lewandowski joined Bayern from rivals Borussia Dortmund in 2014 and has scored 230 goals in 275 appearances for the Bavarian giants since, making him the club's second-highest goalscorer ever behind Gerd Muller (564 goals).
