Bayern Munich moved to the top of the table after edging winless FC Koln 2-1 at RheinEnergieStadion.
Thomas Muller and Serge Gnabry gave the Bavarians a two-goal cushion going to the break. Dominick Drexler pulled a goal back for the hosts in the last eight minutes but it was too little too late.

Dortmund were frustrated in the first stanza but Mats Hummels finally broke the deadlock eight minutes from the break and secured the three points for BVB in the last 20 minutes with the second goal, getting his brace in the process.
Augsburg ended a three-game winless run after thrashing struggling Mainz 3-1 courtesy of a late brace by Andre Hahn at WWK Arena.
Ruben Vargas broke the deadlock for the hosts five minutes before half-time and Karim Onisiwo levelled matters for Mainz just after the hour-mark.
However, Hahn netted two goals in the last ten minutes to deny Mainz their first point of the campaign.
Werder Bremen extended their unbeaten run to five matches after playing to a 1-1 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt at Deutsche Bank Park.
Daichi Kamada thought he had given Eintracht the lead in the 34th minute but his goal was ruled out by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) for offside and Josh Sargent went on to break the deadlock for for Werder six minutes from the break.
However, Andre Silva finally got the hosts on the scoresheet with the equaliser in the 65th minute and the sides shared the spoils in the end.
