Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc not interested in Erling Haaland's comparisons with Robert Lewandowski

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc feels it's not right to compare Erling Haaland with Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.

Haaland has been revelation since joining Dortmund in the January transfer window and he has carried his form into this season, with 10 goals in as many matches.

Dortmund host Bayern and the league's top scorer, Lewandowski on Saturday evening, but Zorc does not want to entertain any comparisons.

"They are different types of players. They score a lot of goals, but they have a different age," Zorc told reporters, according to Goal.

"We're happy to have Erling. He's not just good for us because of goals, but also because he exudes a will to improve all the time.

"He's almost obsessed with success. The comparisons are for journalists and experts, not us."

Heading into Saturday's clash at Signal-Iduna Park, Lewandowski leads all scorers in the Bundesliga 10 goals, five ahead of Haaland.
