In surprising news, Congolese midfielder Karim Kimvuidi has been spotted turning out for Israeli Premier League side FC Ashdod.
Kimvuidi made an unexpected appearance in Israel, featuring in a Toto Cup Ligat match against Hapoel Tel Aviv, where the club suffered a 2-0 defeat away from home.

At this stage, it remains unclear whether the 23-year-old has joined the Israeli club on a permanent transfer or a loan deal, as Orlando Pirates, the player’s South African club, has remained tight-lipped regarding the details of the move.

More recently, Siyanda Xulu, a seasoned former PSL defender, played for Hapoel Tel Aviv, while former Mamelodi Sundowns star Rushine de Reuck had a brief spell with Maccabi Petah Tikva.
