It is now claimed that Simba SC have turned down a multimillion-rand bid from Kaizer Chiefs for one of their top forwards.
Several players from across the continent have been linked with Chiefs, including Fiston Mayele of Pyramids FC and Azam FC star Feisal Salum.
Various reports also suggest that another name reportedly on Amakhosi's radar is Denis Kibu from Simba.

The 26-year-old has been linked with a possible exit from Simba at the end of the season.
The presence of Chiefs boss Nasreddine Nabi during Simba’s recent clash against Singida Black Stars last week has fuelled further speculation regarding Kibu.
Now, Rwandan journalist Eric Ndagijimana claims that Chiefs have seen their bid for Kibu rejected.
Ndagijimana, who works for the Rwanda Broadcasting Agency, claims: "Simba SC have rejected a $170,000 (approximately R3 million) offer from Kaizer Chiefs for striker Kibu Denis.
"Chiefs have now officially pulled out of the race to sign the Tanzanian forward."
Kibu scored four goals during the 2024/25 CAF Confederation Cup, helping Simba finish as runners-up in the tournament under coach Fadlu Davids.
Notably, Kibu will also be travelling to South Africa soon, having been named in the Tanzania squad to face Bafana Bafana in an international friendly on Friday, 6 June.
