Angolan giants Petro de Luanda have appointed a new head coach following the team's Angolan Cup exit earlier this week.
Ricardo Chéu was relieved of his duties after the team lost to SAG Esperance in the quarter-final round on penalties on Wednesday afternoon.

The team have moved quickly to find a replacement by appointing Angolan legend Flavio on Friday.
“Flávio Amado has already guided the training this morning in Catetão,” the club wrote on their Facebook page.
Chéu's time with the Angolan giants did not last a full season as he came in on July 2024, replacing the successful Alexandre Santos.
Flavio takes charge with the team sitting top of Girabola standings, three points ahead of Wiliete with four matches left in the campaign.
Petro will be back in action on Sunday against Academica do Lobito.
