Ex-Kaizer Chiefs Lincoln Zvasiya joins Cranborne Bullets in Zimbabwe

Zvasiya has now joined top league club Cranborne Bullets following two months of training with the army club.

According to The Herald newspaper, Zvasiya will be registered after the transfer window opened on July 1.

"He is a good defender, and we know he will give us the experience that we want in the team. Zvasiya is a defender of note and he still has what it takes to play at the highest level. He is one player who can stabilise any defence around," Bullets' coach told The Herald.

The 30-year-old has been back in Zimbabwe since he left Chiefs via a brief loan spell in Greece with OFI Crete.

He joined Chiefs at the beginning of the 2011/12 and was in the squad that won the league and Nedbank Cup the following season under Stuart Baxter before going out on loan to Greece.

The loan deal crumbled and with Chiefs parting ways with him he then found himself back in Zimbabwe again where he has played for numerous clubs since then amongst them Dynamos and CAPS United.

At Chiefs he made 31 appearances and scored twice.
