Arsenal back 'in talks' for Nigeria star

Premier League giants Arsenal have reportedly begun negotiations to sign a Nigeria star, who is said to be worth €50million.

The Gunners are yet to make a new signing while there league rivals, Manchester City and Liverpool, have already made multiple signings.

The North London outfit are said to be keen on bolstering their attack after finishing second in the Premier League for a third season in a row.

Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla has reported that the Gunners have reignited their interest in the Super Eagles winger.

Lookman reportedly attracted a lot of interest before the start of the 2024/25 season, but they were no concrete offers for the Nigerian's services.

Pedulla adds that Lookman is set to be available if Atalanta receive a fee around €50 million (R1billion, with player dreaming of a return to the Premier League.

The Nigerian, who had stints with Fulham and Everton, has seemingly also fallen out with Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini.
