One Pyramids FC star has unfinished business with Mamelodi Sundowns ahead of the second leg of the CAF Champions League final on Sunday evening.
Goalkeeper Ahmed El-Shenawy was between the sticks when Zamalek lost to Sundowns in the 2016 Champions League final.

The Egyptian shot-stopper is now 90 minutes away from avenging the heartbreak and helping Pyramids clinch their first-ever Champions League crown.
“Back then, with Zamalek, we had huge support from the fans,” El-Shenawy said, as per CAF Online.
“Now, with Pyramids, it’s different. We’re still a new team without the same level of backing. But reaching this final shows how far we’ve come.”
Pyramids hold the advantage with the away goal from the 1-1 draw in the first leg, but El-Shenawy is hoping to get some more support from the locals.
“We need more support — from the media, from the public. What this club has done in just a few years is remarkable,” he said.
“We’ve made history just by being here. Now we want to go one step further and win it.”
