With some reports in North Africa now suggesting yet another possible reunion between Thembinkosi Lorch and Rulani Mokwena, it has emerged why the pair are unable to rekindle their working relationship at MC Alger.
It is now reported that talks between Lorch and Wydad Athletic Club have stalled recently, despite initial suggestions that the two parties were close to agreeing personal terms.

As things stand, Lorch's parent club, Mamelodi Sundowns, are said to have already agreed a deal with Wydad, but talks between Wydad and the player have stalled due to high financial demands.
Amidst all this, rumours began to swirl that Lorch could consider a switch to MC Alger after the club appointed Mokwena.
Mokwena and Lorch's relationship can be traced back to their days at Orlando Pirates, before their reunions at Sundowns and Wydad.
However, rumours of a reunion have been dismissed.
According to WinWin, a source has revealed that Lorch is ineligible to join MC Alger, as Algerian league rules prohibit foreign player signings over the age of 30.
It is also added that clarity around Lorch's future is strictly a financial issue and was never related to the prospect of a reunion with Mokwena.
