Pyramids FC star Fiston Mayele has finally broken his silence amidst rumours that he could leave the club before the start of the 2025/26 season.
Speculation has been swirling that Mayele may part ways with the 2025 CAF Champions League winners in favour of a move to certain clubs in Saudi Arabia, a move he is reportedly open to.

Additionally, South African giants Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns have also been linked with the red-hot striker, though no formal approach has materialized thus far.
The 31-year-old forward became the talk of the town following his exceptional performances last season, playing a key role in helping the Sky Blues secure their first-ever Champions League title.
Addressing the rumours surrounding a potential move away from Pyramids, Mayele emphasised that his focus remains firmly on the Egyptian Premier League side.
The 31-year-old star is under contract with Pyramids until June 2026, and that was all the striker had to say, seemingly putting to rest the speculation about his future.
"I feel very happy, but we must not forget that this is the result of the work of the entire team, we did not win the domestic league, but this award is compensation for missing out on the title," Mayele said per Al Saudi News.
"It was a very long season. We played a lot of matches and won the Champions League. We did everything we could to win every title. We were a close-knit group, and this season will always be etched in my memory.

"It's not easy to forget that Pyramids FC is the African champion. As of now, I'm a Pyramids player with one more season remaining on my contract," added the highly-rated goal-poacher.
"Next season, the biggest challenge is to win every title with my teammates, and why not finish as the top scorer as well. I will do everything in my power to achieve that."
