A Wydad Athletic Club star, signed from Mamelodi Sundowns, has reportedly been allowed to return to training with the team after being sidelined due to a reported financial dispute with the club.
Wydad have made headlines in recent weeks, with the club facing various issues at both coaching and management levels.
On Tuesday, the club formally announced that head coach Rulani Mokwena had been granted a leave of absence for the remainder of the season, ahead of his confirmed departure at the end of the current campaign.

In addition, club president Hicham Ait Mena is reportedly under pressure to step down, particularly as Wydad now face the prospect of missing out on CAF Champions League qualification.
It now appears that internal issues at the club extend beyond the technical bench.
According to Moroccan publications, Defender Abdelmounaim Boutouil was recently frozen out of the squad due to a dispute with the club's management.
Moroccan newspaper AlMountakhab report that Boutouil has since been granted permission to return to training after resolving the matter with the club’s hierarchy.
The report claims that interim coach Mohamed Amine Benhachem, recently appointed following Mokwena’s departure, played a key role in resolving the conflict, which reportedly stemmed from administrative and financial disagreements.
Boutouil only joined Wydad from Sundowns at the start of the season and has already featured in 18 matches under Mokwena this term.
