Venezuelan star Edson Castillo has reportedly signed with a new club following his exit from Kaizer Chiefs.
Castillo recently parted ways with Amakhosi after his contract expired at the end of June.

The 31-year-old spent two seasons at Naturena and won the Nedbank Cup.
It is now reported that the midfielder has found a club in North Africa.
According to Africa Transfermarket, Castillo has reached an agreement with Libyan club Asswehly SC.
The report claims that the South American playmaker will sign a one-year deal, which includes the option to extend for a second year.
Asswehly are set to become Castillo's eighth professional club, having previously played in Venezuela, Mexico, Azerbaijan, and South Africa.
Castillo will not be the first former Chiefs player to move to Libya, as Botswana international Thatayaone Ditlhokwe also joined Al-Ittihad SC from the Soweto giants in January 2025.
