Former Al Ahly star Ahmed Bilal has shared his thoughts on the rumours linking Pitso Mosimane with a return to the Egyptian Premier League giants.
Ahly recently dismissed former Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro following a poor run of results, a decision Bilal supports.

In the interim, assistant coach Emad El Nahhas has been tasked with leading the team while the club continues its search for Riveiro’s replacement.
Amongst the names mentioned as potential successors to the Spanish tactician is former Mamelodi Sundowns boss Pitso Mosimane.
The South African coach led Al Ahly from 2020 to 2022, guiding the team to two CAF Champions League titles and several other major trophies.
Despite Mosimane’s past success, Bilal believes he is not the right choice to succeed Riveiro. Instead, he insists that a non-African-based manager would be a better fit for the role.
"The choice of Emad El Nahhas is very apt. He knows everything about the team during this critical period. Emad El Nahhas has proven his success with Al Ahly in his first term, and I hope the experience continues until next November," Bilal said per Kooora.
"I hope to wait until a technical director is chosen who knows everything, and that he comes during the break so that he can be held accountable in the event of a stumbling block.

"Big teams cannot tolerate failed attempts by coaches, and big teams cannot tolerate more than three failures," he added.
"I am against Pitso Mosimane's return, and I was against Jose Riveiro's selection. I do not support the idea of looking for a coach who works in African teams, because they are all inferior to Al Ahly."
