In the latest edition of Throwback Thursday, former Moroka Swallows star Samuel 'See' Ngobeni explains why he brought his own blanket and pillow to a squad camp.
Ngobeni says he will never forget how he once fell victim to his teammates' initiation culture.

"Remember, when you are from an amateur side you are used to bringing your own lunch box, blanket and pillow to camps [laughs]," Ngobeni tells KickOff.
"Those days, Swallows had all the naughty guys like Edward Motale who would tell you lies and misinform you on how things are done in professional football.
"So, they told me in camps you were not allowed to use the hotel blankets you had to bring your own.
"I was new in the PSL, so my mom decided to give me her best blanket that was in very good condition [laughs].
"There I was standing at the gate waiting for the Swallows bus carrying my mother's blanket in my arm, and a bag full of my other stuff in one hand.
"When I got into the bus everyone was quiet, I think it was a set-up.
"Before laughing they waited until the bus left my home to prevent me from returning the blanket to my mother.
"Once we had gone some distance the likes of Lucas Sebona started laughing, 'Eish you guys always tell us people from Soweto are clever but look at this one now'.
"I became a laughingstock that day [laughs]. After me, the bus would next collect Lucas Sebona and Peter Rabolele...Eish, the guys were rolling in laughter.
"I think we were playing Jomo Cosmos the following day, during the match I left the blanket in the team bus and asked our driver the late Jeff Moroka to keep an eye on it otherwise I'd be in trouble at home [laughs].
"I miss those good old days man, football used to be fun.
