Ngobeni made football look easy.
"I had this nickname since I was a teenager," Ngobeni tells KickOff.
"I got the nickname because of former Mighty Eagles FC [amateur] star player 'See', his real name was Charles Mabasa.
"Mabasa almost joined Kaizer Chiefs, but the deal couldn't materialise when his life was threatened by those who were against the move.
"Like him I was difficult, to mark once on the field.
"Swallows signed me because of my showboating skills, I use to minus defenders.
"I was with Sporting then, and we were playing a friendly game with Moroka Swallows. Even Chicco Twala and Mike Mangena were there.
"So, the full nickname is actually 'See me now, see me no more'.
"I was happy with my career; football doesn't owe me anything.
"I'm doing what I'm doing today because of football, I'm working for a private sector company.
"I'm happy to see current players bringing back the dribbling and skills into the game because that's our identity.
"A South African football player must be able to pass somebody without having looked at them.
"That's what the likes of me, Shakes Kungwane, Scara Ngobese and Junior Khanye used to do.
"I remember a game we played against Sundowns, Patrice Motsepe had just bought Sundowns.
"After that game he asked those who were around him 'Who is that guy?'
