Ernst Middendorp has cancelled his contract with Swallows FC and joined a club in Germany.
German third division side SV Meppen on Tuesday evening announced the appointment of the former Kaizer Chiefs and Maritzburg United tactician.

The 64-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal with the German outfit.

"The new head coach becomes Ernst #Middendorp . He most recently coached Swallows FC (Johannesburg) in South Africa's first division. He canceled his contract there, which ran until the summer of 2026," the German club tweeted.
The Dube Birds find themselves in 14th position on the DStv Premiership standings, five points above the relegation spot with eight games left of the season.
