Nyatama addresses his Swallows future

The side remain in 13th place on the log standings after a 2-1 defeat to SuperSport United away from home last Saturday.

This weekend, the Dobsonville-based outfit is set to host Royal AM in their last league match of the season, at home, although have nothing to play for having escape relegation and a Top Eight finish an impossibility. 

Nyatama says his future at Swallows is not in his hands but that of the management, although expressed his keenness to continue the project going into next season.

"That will depend on management what they will say.

"At the moment, I want to relax during the off-season.

"I will have those meetings and see if they put me in charge again (next season)," said Nyatama when quizzed about his future. 

The former Orlando Pirates midfielder is currently working towards secure his CAF B Licence to improve his qualifications in coaching.

This is the 36-year-old's second season given a chance to coach in the professional ranks by the Dube Birds, and he says he is enjoying the experience.

"It's not easy. I am still new to the coaching industry, but I am learning every day from players and my technical team and also [by] talking to other coaches from other teams.

"I have been in touch. It's not been easy, but am learning every day," he added.
