"Komphela coached me at Maritzburg United and Bafana Bafana, I even scored one of my best goals playing for him," Ndlovu tells KickOff.

"First of all, with Steve Komphela, you can tell he played the game. As a coach, he is very welcoming.

"He makes you feel as if you are talking to your father, or brother, or your friend. He is a good motivator.

"You can tell with Mabasa's performance that Steve got an eye for potential.

"He noticed Mabasa's potential, even Gabadinho Mhango, he is still going to score a lot of goals for Steve.

"Steve knows how to build a spirit inside a person individually or even as a team, as a whole.

"You are fortunate when coached by Steve Komphela, because I have never seen him angry.

"He is open to his players; and that's why you see Mabasa so motivated.

"There are a lot of players there at Swallows people have written off who will bounce back.

"That is because Steve is a good motivator, he is a good leader and a father to his players.

"I'm a very stubborn Zulu man, but Steve could easily calm me down.

"In Steve's team, even fringe players feel like they're part of the team."

Swallows currently occupy fourth position in the standings after eight matches played.
