Steve Komphela has made a loud welcome to being a PSL head coach by setting out his markers in his new job at Swallows FC.
Komphela has taken over from Musa Nyatama who has been at the helm since Ernst Middendorp dumped the club in favour of heading back home to Germany.

Nyatama will now team up with Ditheko 'Tiger' Mototo as assistants to the vastly experienced Komphela.
Straight into the start of his new job, Komphela has voiced out his ambitions.
"I was saying to the chairman, traditionally just like you would say Besiktas, Trabzonspor, Fenerbahce, and Galatasaray," says Komphela.
"Those are the big four (in Turkey where he played).
"If you are thinking Bayern (Munich), (Borussia) Dortmund...wherever you go, you have your Barca, Real Madrid, Sevilla and whoever they are.
"In South Africa, there has always been the tradition of Mamelodi Sundowns, Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, and Moroka Swallows.
"But then Swallows stepped aside and we left the gap of being mentioned as one of the top four.
"So, there is a great room for improvement, and it will be a nice challenge to complete that equation so that when people talk of the big four then it should be Chiefs, Pirates, Sundowns, and Swallows.
"But listen, it may take five years, six years, or a period where we are not here but as long as we are here it should be our ambition to complete that spot," says Komphela while pointing out what he has found at Swallows.

"You cannot have a perfect conclusion on the technical ability or technical application when the conditioning part is not perfect yet, but I should say they look decent and look excited.
"There is still work to be done obviously but so far so good.
"There is still a lot of work to be done and there is still quite a lot of acquisitions that need to be done not only from a playing point of view.
"We need to set up structures that are doing to support the players with regards to information, tools to enhance their performances and try see how best we then take the situation where we at to the next level.
"So, there is still going to be a lot of things that we need to add and in football you are never enough, but it is important that we start adding the fundamentals, the crucial ones, the ones that set a base," says Komphela.
