Swallows FC are expecting a letter from FIFA that is going to decide the future of Promise Mkhuma's fate at the club
Mkhuma is in limbo as he cannot play any games for the club after it was banned from signing players.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns player is currently pushing for a move away from The Birds, but has been told by the club to wait until they get a response from FIFA.
The Swallows ban relates to monies owed to Serbia players Obren Cuckovic and Vladimir Mandic.
Swallows wants the burn overturned as they distance themselves from the old Moroka Swallows FC.
Apparently, a fee of R300 000 for each player was agreed upon but was never honoured by Swallows.
According to Mkhuma's agent Mike Makaab everything will be clearer this month.
"We're still waiting for news on the FIFA ban, yes so I'm told [the club is expecting a letter from FIFA]," Makaab tells KickOff.
The 22-year-old has never featured even once for the Dube Birds this season due to the ban.
He joined Swallows from Swallows in August 2022.
