For such an incredibly skillful and flashy footballer, many would be forgiven for thinking Thabo Rakhale lives an over-the-top lifestyle, but it is quite the opposite as the former Orlando Pirates winger is very modest in his off-field life.
Having been released by Sekhukhune United alongside a bunch of other stars earlier this month, Rakhale is now a free agent. However, his on-field ups and downs take a back seat as we look at the humble life he leads.

Don't judge a book by its cover
If you had to give an assessment of Rakhale, one of the first things that come to mind is his natural ability to simply glide past players with a bit of showboating. Because this is evidently true, it is rather surprising that he remains down to earth when he isn't destroying opponents.
With a glance at the 31-year-old's Instagram, you will quickly realise that the winger prefers keeping close to his family and his boys from eKasi. What is also rather different about Rakhale is that players of his calibre or ballers who have peaked like he did, tend to opt for a glamorous and material-driven lifestyle.
Although there is no shame in appreciating the finer things in life, it is also commendable when players stay true to themselves.
Did you know?
Rakhale was born in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng and he has previously revealed that he grew up idolising former Pirates star Steve Lekoela.
