The Glamour Boys played to a goalless draw with Orlando Pirates at FNB Stadium on Saturday, having entered the duel on the heels of a morale-boosting 2-1 win at Mamelodi Sundowns last week.
'Shabba' told his official website: "Look it is disappointing to end any match without getting the desired results, just like the game against Pirates.
"We played well and obviously the aim was to go out and win but it was not so at the end of the day."
He added: "The supporters are the ones that came out there to support the team and there is no excuse for us not to deliver eye-catching football. I do hope that they know that we give our all and it is not easy to just get things going your way.
"It was a tough match like many other games we play, it is just unfortunate that we did not score or win. Besides that we keep our heads up and continue working."
Chiefs, in fourth place on the Premiership table with 13 points from nine game, next tackle AmaZulu in the last-16 of the Telkom Knockout at Moses Mabhida Stadium this Saturday (20h15).
