New Orlando Pirates coach Kjell Jonevret watched Soweto Derby with Kaizer Chiefs from Sweden

The 54-year-old, who joined Bucs on a three-year deal this month, started his reign at Mayfair with a 1-1 draw against Polokwane City last weekend.

Jonevret will hope Pirates can end a 10-game winless run against their title-chasing arch-rivals at FNB Stadium on Saturday (15h30).

"No, I haven't seen enough of Chiefs. But I saw the Derby when they broadcast it on Swedish television, the first one, the 0-0 in October," said Jonevret.

"I think I have a lot of time this week and we have a good team of analysts. But we are also going to take a lot of time to see what we did [against City] and maybe what we can do better against them."

Jonevret is mindful The Ghost expected more from the stalemate with Rise and Shine in Soweto.

"I don't think the fans were too happy with 1-1," he stressed.

"I think, just like us, they wanted to win and they [supporters] are important, because they are going to help us to win games if we have a little patience."
