The Buccaneers registered a draw for the third successive game after playing to a goalless stalemate against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday afternoon.
"From the start I believe we dominated. In the second half we made changes in order to go for the kill. It is impossible for a game of this magnitude to dominate from start to finish," said 'Micho'.
"We had fallen down because we only one day's rest after our match [in midweek]. In the end a very good game for the audience, for the supporters. It's like a cane without sugar in the end. The goals were the only thing missing, we tried our best but unfortunately it was not supposed to be.
"We played with [Thamsanqa] Gabuza in the second half with more aerial presence and [Bernard] Morrison and later [Thembinkosi] Lorch.
"Domination was on our side but football is not about dominating, the result is what matters."
Man of the Match Thabo Qalinge dedicated his individual prize to his Pirates teammates.
"I should give it to my teammates, they are the ones pushing me, who are instructing me to relax while on the ball because I tend to rush and run a lot without the ball. I'm happy I contributed in the team but I came close to scoring, it would have been nice to finish it with a goal," he added.
