Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates at full strength for Soweto Derby

The battle lines have been drawn and there is ammunition aplenty as the two local giants gear up for the clash at the FNB Stadium this Saturday – kick-off at 15h30.

Chiefs coach Steve Komphela confirmed on Thursday afternoon that every member of his squad is fit and raring to go, while his opposite number Kjell Jonevret also boasted of full attendance at this morning's traning session.

"No concerns. I think it has been a great week, there have been a few things, but today everyone was out on the pitch so we have a full squad to choose from," confirmed Jonevret.

The only absentee for Amakhosi will be want-away forward Edward Manqele, who is in protracted negotiations to part ways with the club.

"Everyone is available except Jabu Manqele, who, after his knee surgery, has yet to take part in full training," added Komphela.

There are also no suspensions for either side, but trouble could be looming for Chiefs' Bernard Parker and Sibusiso Khumalo as well as Pirates' James Okwuosa and Dove Wome, who are all one yellow card away from being suspended.
