Siwelele FC are closing in on the signature of a former Kaizer Chiefs player ahead of the start of the season as new head coach Lehlohonolo Seema continues shaping his squad.
The newly-formed outfit look set to fail in their bid to rope in Neo Maema on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns, with a move north of the continent now on the cards for the midfielder.

However, the club has, in recent weeks, turns attention towards winger Tebogo Potsane, who was announced to have parted ways with Kaizer Chiefs after two seasons with them.
He showed glimpses of his quality at Naturena but ultimately failed to deliver consistently, and constant injuries did not help his bid to convince the technical team and fanbase.
The 31-year-old will then be looking for a fresh start elsewhere, and looks set to join Siwelele, who bought SuperSport United's top-flight status in July.
The club, inspired by Bloemfontein Celtic, is set to be based in Johannesburg for the upcoming season, with plans to later relocate to the Free State, where Celtic was also based.

Seema, who played and coached Celtic, is understood to be keen to bring on board another former Celtic man in Potsane, just as would have been the case with Maema.
The two camps are reported to be in advanced talks, with more arrivals expected in the coming weeks.
