Polokwane City coach Phuti Mohafe has delivered his verdict on the performance of his former player Oswin Appollis during the MTN8 match against Orlando Pirates on Saturday.
Appollis made his first appearance at Pirates in great style when he inspired the Mighty Bacaneers into the MTN8 semi-finals after beating Polokwane City by 2-0 at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday.
The Bafana Bafana star scored the first goal before creating a penalty for the second goal scored by Patrick Maswanganyi to help the Soweto giants secure the victory against Rise and Shine.

Appollis was later named man of the match after his good performance during the MTN8 quarter-finals against Polokwane City in Soweto on Saturday.
Mohafe says he saw a different Oswin Appollis at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday than he knew at Polokwane City.
"That shows that I taught him well. He took that to Pirates and the coach that is coaching now is sharpening him. So that movement is a drilled movement that we have been doing, and we knew that the moment that he gets that ball, we must not give him space inside. Unfortuiantely, the guy that was supposed to close that gap, he went to slumberland a bit," Mohafe said to the media during the press conference after the game.
"He caught us, I think the Appollis I saw today is another Appollis in terms of movement ability, in terms of the playing ability, but I think the guy is improving. I think he can do so going forward," Mohafe added.
