Sundowns to face Sekhukhune' silent plan

Sekhukhune United management have come up with a new plan to stop runaway log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.

According to an insider at the club they have been told not to say anything in the media regarding the Sundowns match.

Apparently, Sekhukhune bosses believe talking too much in the media is what causes fellow DStv Premiership clubs' downfall each time they play Sundowns.

Kick-Off at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Saturday, January 28, is at 15:30.

"There's a lot I could say, I would like to comment but yesterday we all got a message from the management that we must keep quiet," a source tells KickOff.com.

"We all know what happened recently to the teams that said too much before their games against Sundowns. So the club thinks we might end up revealing our plans by mistake.

"They believe by keeping quiet Sundowns might not be able to sense our plan. So I don't want to say too much but it's going to be a tough one.

"But you can tell based on our recent results that we are getting there slowly."

DStv Premiership table toppers Sundowns have now gone 13 straight matches without a defeat or draw.

On the other hand, the Brandon Truter-coached Sekhukhune are in fifth position on the table, just ahead of Kaizer Chiefs who are in position 6 and also with 24 points.

The Limpopo club have enough quality to at least stop Sundowns from getting their 14th win in a row.

Ali Badre Sangare, Daniel Cardoso, Edwin Gyimah, Nyiko Mobbie, Linda Mntambo and Kamohelo Mokotjo are some of the top talents that are on the club's books.
