Kaizer Chiefs returned to winning ways in the DStv Diski Challenge table through a dominant 4-0 victory over Golden Arrows at the Seshego Stadium on Sunday.
Chiefs were keen to hit the ground running and did so when Kabelo Nkgwesa pounced on a free-kick from the underside of the bar to nod in the near post.
The Amakhosi's dominance continued in the second half and saw substitute Nkosana Mbuthu connect with Aiden McCarthy's cross to head home.
Rising star Naledi Hlongwane joined in albeit as a substitute ten minutes from time when he got ahead of the last man to volley in a smart assist.
Hlongwane landed a brace moments later after racing onto a first-time ball in the channels and dinked in the far corner to settle the contest.

The Citizens were fired up in the quest for consecutive wins thus went to the break in the lead before adding to the advantage a little later.

Stellenbosch FC jumped to the top of the table two points ahead of second-place Kaizer Chiefs with a 1-0 win over Polokwane City at the Seshego Stadium.
The Maroons got the opener ten minutes in the second half in astounding fashion through Langelihle Phili who pounced on a delivery over the top.
Rise and Shine failed to draw level as the Maroons showed total authority throughout and ultimately went on to the win and top spot.
Richards Bay FC 2-1 Marumo Gallants FC
Richards Bay FC bounced back from the loss to Cape Town City to see off Marumo Gallants FC 2-1 and cemented fifth-place on the table.
The Natal Rich Boys were in control right from the get-go, with Sithembiso Makhaye and free-scoring Ntlonelo Bomelo on target at the break.
Bahlabane Ba Ntwa fought back after the interval, but the home outfit remained in control all-round to grab the win as the visitors slumped bottom.
Magesi FC 1-3 Orlando Pirates
Orlando Pirates ensured back-to-back wins in the DStv Diski Challenge and cemented sixth-place with a 3-1 victory over Magesi FC at the Seshego Stadium on Saturday.
Top scorer Sphamandla Msezane hit the opener in the earlier stages from the penalty and went on to a brace with a stunning effort around the area.
Magesi, who just appointed Pirates legend Tlou Segolela, got a lifeline through Morongwa Ntshabeleng seconds from the halftime break.
However, the Buccaneers restored complete authority through Mbekezeli Mbokazi and handed Magesi a fourth successive loss.
AmaZulu 0-0 Sekhukhune United
AmaZulu and Sekhukhune United couldn't be separated and played out a gruelling goalless draw out at the Seshego Stadium.
Both teams came to the match on a winning run of form, but just couldn't get past each other as the result leaves them in ninth and tenth-place respectively.
