Orlando Pirates have reportedly received a substantial offer for Relebohile Mofokeng's signature from Major League Soccer club Minnesota United.
As international interest in South African players continues to grow, the Buccaneers now face another potential departure.

According to American journalist Tom Bogert, MLS side Minnesota United have submitted a $2 million (approximately R35 million) offer for the 20-year-old playmaker.
The report has claimed that talks between the two clubs are ongoing, and Minnesota have long admired Mofokeng’s talent.
If the deal goes through, Mofokeng would join fellow Bafana Bafana international Bongokuhle Hlongwane, who signed with Minnesota in 2022 from Maritzburg United.
Mofokeng has been a key figure in the current transfer window, having also reportedly drawn interest from the Saudi Arabian side Ettifaq. Pirates reportedly rejected a €1.5 million (around R31 million) bid from the Saudi club earlier in the window.

Rele, as Mofokeng is nicknamed, his potential departure would be a significant blow to the Soweto giants, who have already sold another promising youngster, Mohau Nkota, to Ettifaq.
The Sharpeville-born attacker had a standout season for the Sea Robbers, scoring 12 goals and providing 15 assists in 49 appearances across all competitions last season.
As speculation intensifies, KickOff reached out to Pirates for comment, but the club had not responded at the time of publishing.
