Thulani Serero will become a free agent after his departure from Al Jazira was confirmed.
The former Bafana Bafana midfielder's contract will expire at the end of the month, with the club confirming he will be leaving for a new challenge.
The 33-year-old midfielder was a prominent figure in the Al Jazira line-up this season, having made 33 appearances across all competitions.

The former Bafana Bafana midfielder has spent the last four years in the United Arab Emirates, having racked up 116 appearances during that period.
Serero also helped the club win the UAE Pro League title and a UAE Super Cup, while they also competed at the FIFA Club World Cup.
