Dino Ndlovu joins Turkish second division side Kocaelispor

Newly-promoted Turkish second division side Kocaelispor have confirmed the signing of South Africa international striker Ndlovu, 31, on a preliminary agreement ahead of the 2021/22 TFF 1. League season.

"Our club has signed a preliminary agreement with the accomplished striker Dino Ndlovu," the club announced via its social media platforms.

Ndlovu had been a free agent since leaving China League One side Zhejiang Greentown in April after he was prevented from returning to the club due to the Covid-19-related travel restrictions.

He scored a club-record 42 goals in 67 appearances during his spell in China and moves to Kocaelispor on the back of his new club securing back-to-back promotions from the Turkish fourth division to the second tier.

The Izmit-based side becomes Nldovu's sixth club outside of South Africa after the former SuperSport United star previously enjoyed spells with Maccabi Haifa in Israel, Anorthosis in Cyprus and Qarabag in Azerbaijan.
