Swallows' Njabulo Ngcobo among four uncapped players called-up to Bafana Bafana

Four uncapped players that starred in the 2020/21 DStv Premiership have been drafted into the Bafana Bafana squad to face Uganda this week.

Bafana assistant coach Cedomir Janevski confirmed on Monday that Percy Tau and Teboho Mokoena were amongst the host of players who've been forced to pull out from the squad to face the Cranes on Thursday.

With the duo ruled out after contracting Covid-19, Sipho Mbule was also forced into isolation due to being in contact with his SuperSport United teammate.

Mamelodi Sundowns trio Mothobi Mvala, Rivaldo Coetzee and Mosa Lebusa added to the list of players unavailable from the original 19-man squad which has seen four new replacements call-up.

Swallows centre-back Njabulo Ngcobo (27) has been drafted in fresh after securing the 2020/21 PSL Defender of the Season in his debut campaign in the top-flight.

He's joined by junior internationals Denwin Farmer, Evidence Makgopa and Ethan Brooks in the new-look squad who will do battle against the East African side at Orlando Stadium.
