Egypt U23 announce star-studded squad to face South Africa ahead of Olympics

South Africa were due for a training camp to the United Arab Emirates this month which has seemingly been called off with their double-header against the North Africans scheduled for 10 and 13 June.

Egypt are also heading to Tokyo 2020 as representatives of Africa after winning the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations which they hosted last year.

Ahly stars Salah Mohsen and Taher Mohamed who both scored in their quarter-final victory over Mamelodi Sundowns last month have made the cut along with Galatasaray star Mostafa Mohamed.

Captain Ramadan Sobhi who made a record R90-million move to Pyramids from Huddersfield is also amongst the key players included.
